Schedule: M-F, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm; 32-40 hours/week
Assignment Length: Approximately 6 months

DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified individual to perform a wide variety of public assistance and public information activities. The individual will perform tasks related to processing walk-in and mail-in payments.

Qualifications:
  • Previous cash handling/cashiering experience.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills.
  • Ability to balance a cash drawer with no errors.
  • Ability to perform mathematical equations quickly and accurately.
  • Maintain solid customer relationships by answering questions and concerns with speed and professionalism.
  • Ability to exercise good judgment, tact, and discretion.
  • Flexible and organized.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office applications (e.g. Outlook, Word, Excel) is desirable to send emails, create documents and maintain spreadsheets.
Duties:
  • Regularly interacts with the public and/or Departments in-person, by phone or email.
  • Operates a mail opening processor, currency counting machine, cash register, and other cashiering and office related equipment.
  • Receives payments, makes change, and issues receipts.
  • Collect mail from the mailroom and various drop boxes.
  • Scan documents and place in an electronic folder.
REQUIREMENTS
  • High School Diploma
  • Requires Clearing Criminial Backround (Live Scan)
