Cleared Staff Software Systems Engineer with Security Clearance

A Global Government Contracting Company is looking for a dynamic Staff Software Systems Engineer to join the team in Sunnyvale, California. Must have current Sec+ and active secret clearance As a Systems Engineer Stf , you will be responsible for the following: Developing and deploying solutions to maintain smooth operation of virtualized computer system environments
Lead technical development projects and hardware refresh efforts
Providing overall on-site maintenance and support of the Unix and Windows systems
Serving as the primary point of contact for issue resolution
Performing Backup/Restore/Disaster Recovery, Hardware/System Monitoring, and System Maintenance
Creating and maintaining user, administrator, and service accounts
Fine tuning system performance, maintaining system documentation, installing system wide software, and allocating mass storage space
Cyber experience Basic Qualifications: In-depth knowledge of Linux systems
Ability to troubleshoot system integration issues in mixed Linux & Windows Systems
Experience with Unix and Windows systems administration
Experience with networking technology
Ability to cover off-hours shift work as required to support mission critical systems and user needs (approx. 2-3x/year)
Security+ CE Certification
US Citizenship and active Secret DoD Clearance Desired Skills: VMware, ESXi, VMView/View Horizon desktop/server virtualization, Zero/Thin Clients
Experience with DNS, Active Directory, GPO or DHCP configuration.
Familiarity with Windows Domain Administration
Understanding of RMF and NISPOM security controls and implementation
Configure HW/SW for servers, RAIDs, 3PAR, storage arrays, library storage devices
Monitor system usage and perform system tuning
Basic troubleshooting of Storage Area Network (SAN) and Networked Attached Storage (NAS) supported protocols including mixed mode
OS updates, antivirus, WSUS patching/updates, Upgrades/Maintenance
Ability to obtain Top Secret DoD security clearance
