Job Description As a Cleared Security Officer - Armed Patrol Driver in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more . As an Armed Patrol Officer in the aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents. This is an armed post, requiring you to carry out your duties with professionalism and a strong sense of responsibility. You will interact with personnel and visitors, providing excellent customer service and clear communication. Responsibilities: Provide customer service by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity. Monitor for and report any suspicious behavior or security-related incidents within the aerospace and defense location. Assist with access control by verifying credentials and monitoring entry points. Support emergency response activities according to established protocols for the location.
Minimum Requirements: Applicants for this role must be at least 21 years of age. A valid driver's license is required and must meet Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements. Level III Armed Certification or active Guard Card is required for positions in Texas. Active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret or higher Clearance is required. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
