Job Description As a Security Officer - Cleared Armed DoD Patrol in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more . As a Patrol Armed Officer in the aero and defense location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, remaining visible to help to deter security-related incidents. This is an armed post, and you may be required to drive as part of your duties. You will interact with personnel and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. Responsibilities: Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. The working environment and conditions may vary depending on the site.
Minimum Requirements: A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located. An active Department of Defense Clearance is required. Customer service experience is preferred. Must have a Texas Armed Security License in hand Be at least 21 years of age. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or have 5 years of verifiable experience. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
