Kratos has an opportunity for a Mission Success Manager who can deliver great technology outcomes to our commercial and federal customers. This position will report to the Director of Mission Success under the Space Domain Awareness and Space Superiority organization. The Mission Success Manager will align to a portfolio focused on supporting exploratory efforts, converting those explorations into larger projects, and embedding those projects within existing programs or working with our partners to create new ones within the government space. As a Mission Success Manager, you will execute on the delivery strategy on our current programs and new relationships as we develop them to deliver unit-changing mission outcomes for our government partners through the technology we deploy. The intended growth trajectory of this role is to develop into a Senior Manager leading a portfolio and supporting impactful missions for our partners. This position encompasses aspects of project management, support to business development, systems engineering, integration, and a heavy dose of people skills. A successful candidate will be expected to lead highly technical engineering teams developing and implementing RF data products and ground segment capabilities. They will be comfortable managing financial, technical, and business baselines while properly managing classified information. About You You bring experience and intuition to developing and delivering new products within the government sector. You have mission domain expertise in RF space and ground based technologies. What you'll do Execute on deployment strategies. Go over and beyond to deliver on execution strategies that drive successful customer outcomes while contributing to the future growth of our partner's mission. Deliver mission impact. Execute successful strategies with your team to create user traction, deliver major wins aligned with organizational objectives, and communicate this impact to project stakeholders. Support the SDA/SS team in developing and managing projects and overcoming technical challenges for assigned programs Take ownership of project schedule, cost, performance, and risk management Coordinate with cross-functional teams regarding new and upgraded product features to support program requirements Collaborate with functional / resource managers (matrix organization) to allocate staff resources and identify resource needs Help foster and lead a culture of continuous process improvement Communicate project status to internal and external stakeholders as needed Experience and Skills 7+ years experience in program management working in a technical delivery role and managing multi-disciplined teams. Strong teaming, leadership, organizational and verbal/written communication skills Willingness to learn new processes and tasks in a changing environment Dedicated, self-motivated, positive demeanor and results oriented Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, or other technical discipline Demonstrated proficiency with managing programmatics such as EACs, schedules, and risk. Demonstrated ability to transition pilots and deliver growth outcomes. Mission domain experience in RF based technologies. U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to access U.S. only data systems and export-controlled data. Must have an active TS Security Clearance. Preferred Skills and Experience Knowledge of federal government contracting processes Experience working within classified programs Masters/PhD from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, or other technical discipline. The grade-based pay range for this job is listed below. Individual salaries within that range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, and skills.
