Job Description As a Cleared Security Officer - Armed / DOD in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more . As an Cleared Armed Officer in the aerospace and defense sector, you will be responsible for monitoring designated areas to help deter security-related incidents. Your presence will be crucial in maintaining a secure environment, and you will engage with individuals to provide exceptional customer service and communication. This role requires a valid driver's license and Level III Armed Certification, as it involves both driving and armed responsibilities. Responsibilities: Provide customer service by implementing security procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when necessary. Respond to incidents and critical situations with a calm and problem-solving approach. Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions.
Minimum Requirements: A valid driver's license for more than 1 year Level III Armed Certification is required for positions in Texas. An active DoD Top Secret Clearance is required. Texas Security Professional Guard Card is required for positions in Austin. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
