The Center for Leading Edge Addiction Research (CLEAR clinic) is seeking an Administrative Coordinator (or Intermediate Administrative Coordinator) to support the efforts of the clinic research staff and all projects. This individual will work closely with the Project Manager to support a composite of several operational functions including research participant scheduling, participant transportation, and compensation coordination. Also, fiscal administration, procurement, communications, grants reporting assistance, human resources assistance, and other administrative functions. The candidate should be able to independently understand and interpret policy, and use judgment to perform their duties. The ideal candidate must take initiative to manage their responsibilities, have a positive attitude, be consistent in all tasks and duties, prioritize process improvements, and take pride in contributing to the entire unit's goals as a valuable team member.
Job Description - Coordinate scheduling research visits for study participants and coordinate transportation.
- For fiscal support compensate research participants, purchase supplies, and process purchases on T&E card. May prepare invoices and purchase requisitions, enter and extract financial information, assist with preparing monthly reconciliations for multiple fund sources, and assist with budget management.
- Support the ongoing operations, including special projects of the CLEAR clinic. Perform a variety of duties requiring an understanding of organizational operations, procedures, and personnel.
- For general administrative support, will answer phones, open mail, maintain facilities, prepare correspondence, maintain calendars, and assist with clinic scheduling.
- May coordinate activities with internal and external customers, arrange meetings and special events, coordinate travel arrangements, and maintain records.
- May provide logistical support for onboarding support of new employees.
- In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education: High School Diploma
Experience: At least one year of experience for administrative coordinator. At least four years experience for intermediate administrative coordinator.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to research in order to resolve any issues
PHYSICAL DEMANDS This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs.
