Job Description:
Our client is looking for a Cleanroom Technician to apply their technical expertise, leadership skills, and commitment to quality to positively impact safe human spaceflight. Passion for our mission and vision is required.
This role is part of Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Facilities, and Security. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all facilities.
As part of a hardworking team of diverse specialists, technicians, and engineers, you will perform general duties involved in the precision cleaning and inspection of aerospace hardware for various spaceflight systems. You will share the team's impact on all aspects of engine production.
Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
The Cleanroom Technician will clean and passivate hardware using means such as solvent/chemical, mechanical, ultrasonic, and precision cleaning methods.
Safely handle hardware utilizing overhead cranes, hoists, and associated lifting equipment.
Use titration and other direct measurement methods to analyze and correct CPV Lab solvent/chemical systems.
Inspect hardware using visual, UV light, borescope, microscopic particle count, and high-precision weighing methods.
Package accepted hardware and supplies for storage or shipment.
Perform shop-level maintenance and calibration of equipment such as pumps, tanks, filtration systems, scales, etc.
Conduct general housekeeping of CPV Lab and Certified Clean Room area.
Follow safety regulations and wear protective eyewear, steel-toe boots, and other applicable personal protective equipment.
Required Skills:
Technical expertise in cleaning and passivation using various methods (solvent/chemical, mechanical, ultrasonic, precision).
Safe handling of hardware using overhead cranes, hoists, and lifting equipment.
Analytical skills for titration and direct measurement methods in lab settings.
Inspection skills using visual methods, UV light, borescope, microscopic particle count, and high-precision weighing.
Packaging skills for storage or shipment of hardware.
Maintenance and calibration skills for shop-level equipment (pumps, tanks, filtration systems, scales).
General housekeeping skills for lab and clean room areas.
Understanding and adherence to safety regulations and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
