Job Summary: The Catering Coordinator will be responsible for generating new business and maintaining existing client relationships. This role involves coordinating all aspects of catering sales, from initial client contact to event execution, ensuring a seamless and exceptional experience for our clients.
Duties & Responsibilities: - Sales and Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the catering market.
- Develop and maintain relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and other potential customers.
- Conduct Iacofano's sales pitch and coordinate meetings with prospective clients.
- Prepare strategic routes to target new clients while staying close to delivery spots.
- Event Coordination:
- Work closely with clients to understand their catering needs and preferences.
- Coordinate with the culinary team to assist in any way possible.
- Oversee the planning and execution of food preparation, ensuring all details are managed effectively.
- Ensure timely delivery and setup of catering services at FBOs.
- Customer Service:
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients, addressing any questions or concerns promptly and with a positive attitude.
- Follow up with clients post-delivery to gather feedback, ensure satisfaction and pitch additional services.
- Administrative Duties:
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and route details.
- Prepare sales reports and forecasts for management review.
- Assist with invoicing and packaging as needed.
Requirements
Qualifications: - Must have valid driver's licenses, clean driving record & insurance.
- Possess excellent written & verbal skills.
- Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 40 pounds.
- Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 5 hours)
