Your responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons for Year 2 pupils, following the KS1 National Curriculum.
- Effectively assess, track, and report on pupil attainment and progress, using this data to inform differentiated teaching for all abilities (EAL, SEND).
- Implement positive strategies for managing pupil behaviour, fostering a secure and focused learning environment.
- Maintain clear and professional communication with pupils, parents/carers, and colleagues, building positive relationships.
- Contribute actively and positively to the overall ethos and community life of the school.
About you:
- Hold current Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree.
- Possess demonstrated successful teaching experience within KS1, with previous Year 2 experience being highly advantageous.
- Exhibit strong knowledge and understanding of the KS1 National Curriculum.
- Highly skilled in classroom management and managing pupil behaviour.
- Possess a strong commitment to child protection and safeguarding procedures.
