Key Responsibilities: - Prioritize health and safety by following all safe work practices and policies.
- Pick up, pack, and transport damaged and discarded goods and recalled products.
- Load, pack, and segregate materials and waste products.
- Drive a box truck to visit retail customer sites.
- Interact with customers during each stop.
- Prepare DOT shipping documents accurately.
- Utilize a laptop, printer, handheld device, and smartphone to complete tasks.
- Conduct jobs in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations as well as company policies.
- Work on projects at various customer locations, including Fortune 500 companies.
- Ensure the final preparation and approval of all projects meet safety standards.
- Recognize and follow customer-specific disposal restrictions.
- Maintain the integrity of drum counts and conditions for shipping.
- Adhere to all compliance regulations and guidelines.
- Safely operate vehicles per DOT and local requirements.
- Follow all corporate operating guidelines and procedures.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications: - Valid Driver's license required.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Ability to efficiently use a laptop, handheld device, printer, and iPhone.
- Eligible to obtain a CDL Class B with hazmat and tanker endorsements within 6 months of hire-training provided.
- Capable of performing physical functions as per job requirements.
- Must pass a background check, drug test, and physical exam.
- Must meet facial hair standards as required by OSHA's Respiratory Protection standard.
Preferred Qualifications: - Previous commercial driving experience.
- Experience with route driving.
- Experience in manual labor roles.
