Employment Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $28 to $30 per hour + Bonus Opportunities.

We are seeking a responsible Class B CDL Truck Driver/Smash Operator to join our Smash My Trash team. You will be responsible for safely operating our trucks, which are outfitted with a 3-ton rolling drum on a boom that you operate to SMASH the contents of open-top waste containers (dumpsters), requiring your ability to operate the equipment at each customer's facility.

Responsibilities:

•   Provide excellent customer service as the face of the company.

•   Safely operate a 25,000-pound Kenworth T270 truck.

•   Skillfully control hydraulic equipment to compact waste.

•   Use a smartphone app to track routes and log activities.

•   Perform pre- and post-trip truck inspections and document findings.

•   Report any mechanical issues or incidents to dispatch.

•   Maintain cleanliness and perform minor maintenance on the truck and equipment.

•   Demonstrate reliability, accountability, and a strong work ethic.
Qualifications: (Do Not Apply Unless You Meet These Requirements)

•   Valid Class B CDL license.

•   Minimum 3 years of CDL driving experience.

•   Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) required.

•   Must pass a 5-year background check.

•   Strong job history demonstrating reliability.

•   Proficient with smartphones and mobile apps for tracking work activities.

•   Ability to operate hydraulic machinery.

•   Diesel mechanic or hydraulic system experience is a plus.
