Clean Harbors is seeking a Class A CDL Driver to operate a range of heavy and light duty trucks at our customer sites, including vacuum trucks, Cuscos, guzzlers, and roll offs. This role will involve both driving and non-driving tasks associated with hazardous waste clean-up.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prioritize Health and Safety by following all safe work practices and policies.
  • Operate commercial trucks and assist field laborers as needed.
  • Drive a variety of Class A trucks, loading and unloading materials.
  • Engage in manual labor on site to meet customer requirements.
  • Ensure proper placarding of vehicles according to company and DOT regulations.
  • Maintain daily logs and various reports, observing relevant compliance regulations.
  • Safely operate vehicles following U.S. DOT and other regulatory requirements.
  • Adhere to all corporate and environmental health and safety guidelines.
  • Be prepared to be on call for emergency response on a rotating basis.
  • Participate in site remediation, equipment decontamination, and hazardous materials handling.
Required Qualifications:
  • Valid Class A CDL.
  • Ability to obtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsements within 90 days of hire.
  • Proficient in using various mobile devices.
  • Physically capable of performing job-related functions.
  • Pass a background check, drug test, and physical examination.
  • Meet specific facial hair standards as per OSHA's Respiratory Protection Standard.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous commercial driving experience.
  • Existing Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
  • Experience with Hazmat operations.
  • Skilled in operating manual transmissions.
  • Experience in manual labor roles.
