Class 2 HGV Drivers
14.50 an hour
Stoke-on-Trent
We are looking for two Class 2 drivers that will be required to drive vehicles ranging from 7.5 tonne to 26 tonne using a variation of hand ball, tail lift and loading bays.
You will be delivering frozen and ambient food to the takeaways, restaurants and wholesalers, whilst maintaining a presentable appearance and good level of customer service.
Responsibilities
- Daily walk around checks
- Reporting any defect to the Transport Manager
- Delivering in a professional manner to our customers
- Collecting customer payments
- Maintaining the vehicles as well as its cleanliness
- Must have a good understanding of both EU and Domestic driving laws
Duties & Responsibilities: -
- A minimum of 6 months Class 2 experience required.
- A driving assessment may be required.
- No more than 6 points on licence.
Hours: -
- All day work
- Shifts immediately available
- Temporary to permanent positions available
Suitable applicants skills may include: Class 2, LGV2, HGV2, Tramping, Trunking, Handballing, Long-haul, Rigid, Curtain side, Car Transporter, Tilt Frame, Hiab, Frozen, Chilled
