Direct Response Employment are working with an established, family run business who are seeking a class 2 driver to join the team on a permanent basis.
As a class 2 driver you will play a crucial role as part of the retail delivery team, delivery items to customers on time providing a friendly delivery service as part of a 2 man delivery team.
You will be responsible for delivery a wide range of items from smaller items such as electrical appliances through to larger items such as furniture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate Class 2 vehicles to deliver goods to various locations.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and ensure adherence to safety regulations.
- -Load and unload deliveries in a timely and efficient manner.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any customer inquiries or issues.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Valid Class 2 driving license and CPC certification.
- Previous driving or delivery experience is preferred.
- Strong understanding of road safety regulations and traffic laws.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
On Average the role is working 42.4 hours a week, working 5 days a week Tuesday through to Saturday and an annual pay of £29,604.49.
