Class 1 Driver - Days

Our client is a third-party provider of transportation and logistics services that offers a range of services from, Drayage, Global freight forwarding & Full truckload transport. The company is committed to environmental sustainability and works with customers to create action plans to reduce emissions.
Candidates with significant Class 1 experience are encouraged to apply. However, those with a few months of solid Class 1 driving experience will also be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
- On a typical shift you will make 1-3 drops per day
- Deliver loads to client sites, dropping and swapping trailers once your destination is reached.
- Ensure that all goods are securely loaded before journeys.
- Safely drive modern vehicles across the UK.
- Operate in compliance with FORS Gold level safety standards.
- The vehicles you will be driving are part of a brand new fleet so have never been driven before
Benefits:
- Pay: 15.15 per hour
- 2 week shutdown at Christmas
- Monday-Friday working only
- Temp to Perm role for suitable candidates
- 28 Paid Days Holiday.

Requirements:
- Valid LGV C+E Licence.
- Up-to-date CPC and DIGI card.
- Maximum of 6 points on your licence.
- No DD, DR, or IN endorsements.
- All drivers must pass an on-site assessment.
