City Resource is currently recruiting for a well-established client in the Cambridgeshire area.
We are seeking Class 1 HGV Drivers (PAYE) to support a busy refrigerated distribution operation. Work is flexible with start times varying (you choose).
Day-to-Day Duties Include:
- Driving refrigerated units delivering temperature-controlled goods.
- Carrying out daily walk-around checks to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Securing and inspecting loads before departure.
- Making 1 3 drops per day, with minimal manual handling involved.
- Following site procedures and maintaining professionalism at all times.
Requirements:
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) HGV licence
- Minimum 2 years Class 1 experience preferred
- Current CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- No more than 6 penalty points
- Good communication and reliability
- Experience in fridge work is advantageous but not essential
What We Offer:
