Customer Service Representatives (Claims Administrators)

Location: Hybrid - mostly remote 1 day/week onsite in Wakefield, MA
Pay Rate: $18.00/hr (6+ month contract, potential for perm based on performance - not guaranteed)
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM or 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST
About the Role:
Our client is actively seeking 10 Customer Service Representatives (Claims Administrators) to join their teams. You'll be working in a supportive, fast-paced environment that handles the processing and management of unclaimed property claims.
We're looking for team players who are flexible, detail-oriented, and comfortable taking on high-volume tasks. If you have 1+ year of customer service experience and thrive in a remote environment, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enter and review data in the company's proprietary system
- Analyze claim documentation to determine rightful ownership
- Process claims in accordance with client-specific guidelines
- Answer customer calls and emails regarding property and claims status
- Assist claimants with navigating the online claim submission process
- Report discrepancies and follow up on incomplete claims
Experience & Skills:
- 1-3 years in customer service, call center, or claims processing
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Critical thinker who can analyze and assess documentation
- Comfortable working with databases, Microsoft Excel & Word
- Able to quickly learn and adapt to proprietary systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Professional, business-like demeanor when corresponding with claimants
- Prior call center experience is a plus
- Strong time management and productivity mindset
- Willingness to take initiative and contribute to team success
Work Eligibility & Schedule:
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship
- Must be available to work during client hours (7:30am-4:30pm or 8:00am-5:00pm EST)
Pay & Potential:
- $18.00/hour
- 6+ month contract with the potential for permanent placement (based on business need and performance)
- No guarantee of conversion, but permanent hires typically remain at the $18/hour pay rate
