Claims Examiner


Incline P&C Group is now hiring an experienced Claims Examiner to join its Claims team in Austin, TX. Incline P&C Group and its subsidiaries are fronting companies with claims handled by managing general agents and General Agents (MGAs, GAs) or third-party claims administrators (TPAs). The ideal candidate will have previous P&C insurance carrier experience and experience or knowledge of working with MGAs, GAs and TPAs. This role will report directly to the Claims Manager and is a great opportunity for those looking for career growth in a dynamic and innovative organization.


Responsibilities:


• Assist in conducting claims audits of MGAs, GAs and TPAs, including in-depth and specific targeted audits.


• Review and respond to requests for settlement and reserve authority from personal auto MGAs, GAs and TPAs.


• Provide consultation, advice, and direction to MGAs, GAs and TPAs on claims issues such as coverage, reserving, responses to settlement demands, etc.


• Review and modify or approve responses to policy limits demands, denials of coverage, and payments as required by applicable contracts or otherwise requested by MGAs, GAs or TPAs.


• Monitor MGAs, GAs and TPAs for compliance with regulatory requirements and with contractual requirements.

Requirements:


• Bachelor's degree in business or related field of study preferred.


• 3+ years of personal auto claims experience with an emphasis on bodily injury losses.


• AIC or other professional designations a plus.


• Current TX adjusters license.


• Thorough understanding of insurance-related legal procedures and regulatory compliance.


• Strong working knowledge of Salesforce CRM.


• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, etc.)


• Strong attention to detail and keen analytical skills.


• Advanced professional written and verbal communication skills.
