Duration: 12-Months Contract

Pay Rate: $17 to $18 on W2

Job Description:

The Unclaimed Property Specialist II is responsible for managing and processing claims related to unclaimed property, ensuring ownership validation through investigative work. This position demands in-depth knowledge of program guidelines, discretion, and independent judgment in applying relevant rules, regulations, statutes, and legal principles to resolve claims accurately and lawfully. The specialist will manage claims independently, analyze complex documentation, and effectively organize workloads to meet statutory and organizational goals.

Responsibilities:

• Process and investigate unclaimed property claims, validating ownership through detailed analysis.
• Apply applicable rules, regulations, and legal principles to resolve claims accurately.
• Analyze and evaluate complex documentation to support claims processing.
• Coordinate workloads efficiently to meet required timelines and statutory obligations.
• Handle claims independently with discretion and professional judgment.
• Ensure compliance with organizational and statutory guidelines for unclaimed property.

Skills:

• Proficient in data entry and claims processing.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office and proficient in data entry tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Experience:

• Proven experience in claims processing, with familiarity in handling complex documentation and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Education:

• GED or High School Diploma required.
