The Claims Customer Service Representative is responsible for claim processing
and interacting with customers, dealers, repair facilities, and third-parties. The
Claims Customer Service Representative, analyzes and disseminates claim data, to
aid in the understanding and management of any individual claim, or group of
claims, so as to render an appropriate adjudication.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Administer claims in accordance with company policy.
Provide exceptional customer service.
Responsible for accurate maintenance and documentation of internal claim files.
Clearly communicate with Customers, Repair Facilities, Dealerships, etc to obtain required diagnostic information.
Effectively maintain email/call tickets to follow-up for required information and process incoming diagnostics
Develop conclusions based on diagnostics provided and make adjudication
recommendations to the supervisor.
Deliver detailed adjudications, both verbally and in writing.
Calmly attempt to resolve and de-escalate any issues.
Escalate calls/claims to supervisor when necessary and appropriate.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
High level of productivity and organization necessary.
Ability to rapidly analyze issues, establish priorities, anticipate
consequences, make decisions and initiate action within required time
constraints.
Excellent record-keeping skills.
Comfortable working in a high-stress environment and ability to stay calm
under pressure.
Work occasionally requires a high level of mental effort and strain when
performing essential duties. Must be able to perform the essential duties of
the position with time constraints.
Energetic, motivated individual.
Ability to effectively work independently and as a team.
Strong interpersonal skills to develop and maintain positive relationships
with the team.
Strong communication skills (oral, written and listening).
Must work well in a team environment, be reliable and be trustworthy.
Strong ethical and compliance requirements.
Attention to detail and accuracy is a must.
Work may require more than 40 hours per week.
Must be able to work morning, evening and night shifts including some
weekends.
High School Diploma or GED Required, Bachelors' Degree preferred.
Proficient with Apple, Microsoft Office, Excel
Growth likely for exceptional performance.
Compensation Range: $17.00 to 199.00 USD/Hourly
