JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Responsible for Reporting Workers' Compensation claims to Insurance Carrier, investigating claims and monitoring claims.
  • Responsible for communications with Team Members, Department Heads and Insurance Carrier regarding status of claims.
  • Communicate with Medical Providers and document claim progress.
  • Maintain OSHA 300 Log.
  • Reviews accident reports to identify patterns of injury and to determine whether unsafe conditions contributed to the accident; advises departments of trends in injuries and proper safety procedures that may result in reduction of injuries; provides department with information that will aid in reducing accidents and improve safety.
  • Documents telephone conversations, witness statements, medical reports, accident investigation results, and payment of medical bills
  • Updating Safety Data Sheet records.
  • Responsible for investigating property damage claims and contacting patrons regarding outcome.
  • Assisting the benefits coordinator with various assignments to include work accommodations, FMLA, disability etc.
  • Acts with utmost discretion and maintains confidentiality in handling all documentation and information.
  • Ensures accuracy and timeliness of all projects assigned.
  • Creates and maintains files, records, correspondence, reports and other documentation in an organized manner.
  • Promotes outstanding internal and external guest relations.
  • Promotes honesty and trust among the team.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • One (1) to Three (3) years of claims experience preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
