WRMC is seeking a Claims Administrator who will be responsible for managing insurance claims for WRMC properties. This role requires strong organizational, communication, and project management skills to handle a high volume of claims efficiently. Key duties include coordinating with insurance brokers, carriers, adjusters, board members, and vendors to ensure timely claim resolution. Travel to properties on short notice is required. A Texas Adjuster License is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end process of property insurance claims, including filing, documentation, and follow-up.
- Ensure claims are handled promptly and in compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Coordinate with insurance brokers, carriers, and adjusters to facilitate claim resolution.
- Act as the primary point of contact for board members and property managers regarding claim status and updates.
- Communicate effectively with vendors performing repair work to ensure timely completion and alignment with insurance requirements.
- Provide regular updates to internal stakeholders on claim progress and outcomes.
- Oversee the workflow of multiple claims simultaneously, ensuring all deadlines and milestones are met.
- Develop and maintain detailed records and logs for each claim to ensure transparency and organization.
- Identify and address any roadblocks or delays in the claims process proactively.
- Ensure all claims processes comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Maintain accurate documentation to support audits and regulatory reviews.
- Visit properties as needed to assess damage, support claim processes, and collaborate with on-site teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in insurance claims management, preferably within property management.
- Licensed adjuster in the state of Texas (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of property insurance claims processes and terminology.
- Exceptional project management skills with the ability to handle multiple claims simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience liaising with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and claims management software.
- Ability to travel as required.
