Summary of Duties The Claim Administrator Completions & Warranty Labor is responsible for the day-to-day administration and processing Labor warranty, Falcon aircraft completions and commercial program claims including: the reviewing of maintenance transactions and invoices, preparation of documentation for invoice payment, categorizing expenses, producing documents and reports as required by Dassault groups in charge of delivering support services and coordinate the review of worldwide commercial programs.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):
- Responsible for the day to day administration and processing of Falcon aircraft completion, commercial programs and Labor warranty claims:
- Technical review of maintenance work performed. This involves understanding of the work performed; how much time and how many technicians would be required to perform specific maintenance tasks on a Falcon aircraft to help establish a labor flat rate or adjust an existing labor flat rate.
- Commercial review of applicable warranty terms and conditions. This involves applying knowledge of Dassault warranties and commercial programs coverage to properly adjudicate claims; in parallel discuss issues with engineering based on claims received which may require development of a service bulletin for the fleet
- Preparation of documentation for invoice payment,
- Categorizing expenses,
- Producing documents and reports as required by Dassault groups in charge of delivering support services.
- Main point of contact in western hemisphere for the coordination, the review and the approval of new worldwide commercial programs; need to understand technical solutions (i.e. vendor quality escapes, logistical issues) and how they apply commercially
- Report on technical feedback and associated financial aspects for specific aircraft post-delivery obligations (i.e. consult with engineering for repair solutions which reduce costs to Dassault, improve aircraft reliability and dispatch)
- Assist resolving service center disputes and customer account issues
- Coordinate with operator as required to ensure data is updated in CAMP/approved maintenance tracking service
- Train employees, customers and authorized service centers on Labor warranty, completion and commercial program processes and applicability
- Provide reports and data required to respond to customer RFQ's
NON-PRINICIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)
- Other special projects and related tasks assigned by management.
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2 years' college degree (preferably technical or aviation) or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in handling technical claims
- Solid understanding of business; make sound financial decisions in maintenance, warranty and aircraft repairs
- Ability to define problems, collect data, and provide business analysis
- Experience with MS Windows, MS Office Suite and MS Access.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and ability to support financial requests
- Able to handle multiple tasks and coordinate with multiple groups and keep deadlines
- Self-starter who takes initiatives and works with minimal supervision
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
ADDITIONAL DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor degree or equivalent experience
- Previous experience in customer service position serving aerospace industry
- Previous experience in maintenance cost programs, work order systems, and application
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Office environment
- Occasional overtime/weekend work to meet deadlines
- Extensive use of PC
- Attention to detail in developing and reviewing specific data is a regular and essential requirement of the job.
- Some travel required.
