Scope of the project: the South Carolina enterprise information system (SCEIS) is requesting the services of a sales and distribution (SD) senior consultant - project lead to work with SCEIS and state agency to build out the functionality of the sales and distribution module of sap related to the maintenance and enhancement of the of the converted legacy billing and work order system to SAP.
DAILY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES: - Facilitate blueprinting and design sessions
- Convey sap capabilities within SAP module
- Collaborate with SCEIS MM team, agency subject matter experts and consultants with other modules as necessary
- Create functional specification requirements
- Configure sap SD in the SCEIS system to meet client business requirement including connection points with FI, MM, plant maintenance (PM), and other pplicable modules
- Conduct knowledge transfer and assure processes are documented
- Manage testing and roll out activities
- Assist production support
REQUIRED SKILLS (RANK IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE): - Comprehensive understanding of SD module and its relationship to MM, FI, and PM
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and conceptual skills
- Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work well on cross functional project teams
- 10-12 years of experience in SD and related modules and previous lead experience
- Strong communication skills. Written and verbal.
PREFERRED SKILLS (RANK IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE):
Experience in public sector
REQUIRED EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS: Bachelors in it, business or equivalent experience
