Description

The Civil Superintendent is responsible for:

  • Oversee day-to-day field operations on ground-up civil construction projects

  • Coordinate and manage subcontractors, field crews, and suppliers

  • Ensure job site safety, quality control, and adherence to project timelines

  • Collaborate with Project Managers and leadership to meet project goals

  • Maintain accurate project documentation using Procore, B2W, and Vista

  • Conduct daily site walks, safety meetings, and progress check-ins

  • Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including clients and inspectors

  • Monitor materials, equipment, and labor to ensure efficient site operations

  • Uphold company values and represent the team with professionalism on every job site




Profile

The Civil Superintnedent will have:

  • Civil construction experience with a civl contractor / GC (5+ years)
  • Experience building ground-up public projects or water/waste water projects
  • Proficiency in reading, analyzing, and interpreting commercial construction plans, drawings, and specifications
  • Skilled at negotiation and conflict resolution
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload
  • Familiarity with construction/project management
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management (preferred)
  • 10-Hour OSHA Construction Safety and Health Certification
  • 30-Hour OSHA (preferred)
