Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough site investigations to assess damages due to catastrophes such as storm damage, hurricanes, and floods
- Prepare reports that clearly portray cause and origin of failure, extent of loss, and recommended solutions.
- Provide expert opinions and analysis to support or refute claims.
- Act as an expert witness in legal proceedings, providing testimony based on your findings and analysis
- Support and mentor other engineering staff when required
Qualifications
- Professional Engineer in Louisiana (PE)
- Bachelor's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering
- 8+ years structrual engineering experience
- 3+ years forensics experience
- Strong analytical and field inspection skills
- Deposition and Expert Testimony experience
- Experience with storm damage
