Role Overview

As a Civil Engineer focused on Land Development, you will be responsible for designing and managing a variety of site development projects including residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments. You'll work closely with clients, municipalities, and internal teams to deliver creative, cost-effective solutions from concept through construction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare site layouts, grading, stormwater management, utility design, and erosion control plans

  • Perform site and infrastructure design in accordance with local and state regulations

  • Lead or support permitting processes with municipalities and regulatory agencies

  • Coordinate with surveyors, architects, planners, and environmental consultants

  • Mentor junior engineers and assist project managers with scheduling and budgeting

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (required)

  • PE license or ability to obtain within 12 months (preferred)

  • 3-8 years of relevant land development experience

  • Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and related design software

  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
