We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Civil Litigation Attorney to join our client's established firm in San Joaquin County. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in civil litigation, demonstrating a strong understanding of legal principles, exceptional analytical skills, and a commitment to client service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle all aspects of civil litigation cases from inception to resolution, including case strategy, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation.
- Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
- Represent clients in court, arbitration, and mediation proceedings.
- Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on litigation matters.
- Work collaboratively with other attorneys and support staff to achieve the best outcomes for clients.
- Maintain accurate and timely case records and documentation.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active membership in the California State Bar.
- Minimum of 2 years of civil litigation experience.
- Strong knowledge of California civil procedure and substantive law.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
- High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
