Job Details

Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Litigation Associate Attorney to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in litigation, a strong work ethic, and a passion for advocacy. You will be responsible for managing a diverse caseload, handling all aspects of litigation, and working closely with senior attorneys on complex matters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and litigate a variety of cases, including commercial, civil, and corporate disputes
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and briefs
• Prepare for and attend court hearings, depositions, and trials
• Engage in client communications and strategy development
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on case preparation and legal strategies
• Negotiate settlements and attend mediation sessions when necessary
• Stay current with developments in litigation and legal trends

Qualifications:

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active state bar membership in PA
• 5-10 years of litigation (insurance defense/workers' compensation) experience in a law firm or equivalent setting
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
• Excellent oral and written communication abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Experience in discovery, motions, and trial preparation is preferred
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
