Job Details

We represent a broad spectrum of clients in high-stakes civil litigation matters, with a focus on complex disputes that require strategic, responsive legal representation. Our civil litigation team handles cases involving:

• General liability defense (e.g., slip and fall, premises liability, personal injury)
• Tort and negligence claims, including intentional torts and catastrophic injury cases
• Professional liability and malpractice defense (including E&O claims)
• Employment-related litigation (wage & hour, discrimination, wrongful termination)
• Construction defect and construction-related disputes
• Insurance defense and coverage litigation
• Products liability and property damage

Duties:

• Manage all phases of civil litigation from inception through resolution, including strategy, pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial preparation
• Draft and argue dispositive motions, including motions for summary judgment
• Represent clients in mediations, arbitrations, hearings, and trials
• Collaborate with partners and staff to ensure efficient, high-quality legal services
• Handle a wide range of matters, which may include medical malpractice, nursing home defense, insurance coverage disputes, pharmaceutical liability, and equitable relief proceedings, just to name a few

Looking For:

• J.D. and licensed to practice in New Jersey
• Minimum years of experience with civil litigaiton
• Prior experience with one or more of the following is preferred: medical malpractice, torts or negligence claims, insurance defense or coverage, premises liability, general liability, representation of institutional clients (e.g., hospitals, nursing homes, pharma), injunctive or equitable relief or similar
