Job Description:

As a Civil Environmental Engineer at SDE, you will play a pivotal role in designing and managing wastewater treatment projects and water treatment projects that safeguard the environment and public health. You will collaborate with a team of professionals, applying your expertise to address complex wastewater challenges.


Responsibilities:

  • Design, evaluate, and optimize water and wastewater treatment systems.
  • Prepare engineering plans, specifications, and reports.
  • Perform hydraulic and process modeling for water and wastewater facilities.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and environmental impact assessments.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to project teams.
  • Collaborate with regulatory agencies and clients to ensure compliance.
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania or ability to obtain licensure within 6 months.
  • 5+ years of experience in water or wastewater engineering.
  • Proficiency in relevant computer modeling software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Knowledge of environmental regulations and permitting processes.
