Our client is seeking a full-time Civil Engineer-either an Engineer in Training (EIT) or a licensed Professional Engineer (PE)-to support the design and development of civil infrastructure projects. This role is integral to delivering site designs, permitting, and construction support for a diverse range of projects including municipal improvements, educational and athletic facilities, corporate campuses, and commercial developments.
Key Responsibilities
- Support senior engineers and project managers in producing design, bidding, and construction documents.
- Draft topographic surveys and prepare corresponding documentation.
- Develop accurate cost estimates and specify project materials.
- Design stormwater management systems, including stormwater modeling.
- Prepare and submit permit applications for municipal, stormwater, and DSPS requirements.
- Ensure effective communication and coordination with both clients and internal project teams.
- Carry out other assigned engineering tasks as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- 3 to 10 years of relevant civil engineering experience.
- Proficient in CAD design and drafting.
- Experience with stormwater modeling software including HydroCAD and WinSLAMM.
- Valid driver's license with flexibility for in-state travel.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with clients and collaborate within teams.
