Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Civil Engineer to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing construction and infrastructure projects such as roads, bridges, buildings, and water systems. The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise, project management skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality engineering solutions.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, design, and supervise civil engineering projects from conception to completion.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, site inspections, and environmental impact assessments.
  • Prepare engineering calculations, blueprints, and technical reports.
  • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Monitor project progress, budgets,
  • and timelines to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and safety standards.
  • Use CAD and other design software to create plans and simulations.
  • Investigate and resolve any issues or defects on-site during construction.
  • Provide technical advice and guidance to clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within X months.
  • 2+ years of experience in civil engineering or related field.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other engineering software.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with insert relevant specialization, e.g., transportation, structural design, stormwater management .
  • Familiarity with project management tools and practices.
  • Previous work with government or municipal projects.
