The Axel Group is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Civil Engineer with an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification to join our clients office based out of Dallas, TX. Key Responsibilities:
- Support the design and preparation of construction plans for residential subdivisions, including grading, drainage, paving, and utility layouts.
- Conduct site development calculations such as earthwork, stormwater management, and utility demand analysis.
- Support project managers in preparing project documentation, reports, and permitting applications.
- Coordinate with clients, municipalities, and other design professionals.
- Perform field visits as needed to support engineering evaluations or construction observations.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal design standards and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification required.
- 2+ years of experience in civil engineering, preferably in residential or land development.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D and related design software.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
