I am partnered with a leading multi-disciplined consulting firm that offers a full range of services to both public and private sector clients and they are looking to add a CAD Technician to their team. This candidate will be responsible for the design and/or management of roadway engineering projects for highway and municipal infrastructure projects, as well as client interaction and staff management.
Responsibilities:
- Provide CAD plan development and preparation for projects mainly in the areas of DOT and Country highways, local roads, and public works infrastructure projects
- Assist staff in the development of CAD based calculations
- Development of CAD system standards, procedures and updates
- Provide CAD training assistance to staff
Required Experience:
- 2 years of experience
- Experience with AutoCAD and MicroStation
- Proven ability to develop and produce civil engineering drawings in CAD
