Our Assistant Community Managers:
- Assists the Community Manager with daily, routine office tasks such as answering phones, responding to emails & other inquiries as well as ensuring Resident files are in order and up to date per company policy.
- Takes the lead in marketing and leasing efforts, maintaining a waitlist/interest list for upcoming available units.
- Schedule and give tours of the property and vacant units based on availability and rent ready status.
- Assists in collecting/depositing Resident rents, processing in accounting software and applying to Resident ledger properly following CIRC accounting procedures and policies
Confers with maintenance as needed to ensure all necessary materials and supplies are available and work orders are prioritized and completed timely per company policies. - Contributes collaboratively and as part of our team, driving the mission, vision, and values of Transforming Age's Culture of Excellence
- Performs other duties as assigned.
What you need to succeed:
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Prior experience with LIHTC property management preferred. Other affordable housing programs may be acceptable dependent on years of experience and/or working knowledge
- Effective written and verbal communication in English in order to receive direction and perform responsibilities of the position
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 Suite.
- Experience with a property management software (e.g. Yardi) preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills and willingness to assist all residents and team members.
- Maintain a flexible with schedule for emergencies or ability to work occasional weekends for leasing events.
- Must have current driver license and own transportation for CIRC site visits.
