Position Overview

The Kids Ministry Pastor/Director is a dynamic and visionary leader responsible for ministering to children (1st- 5th grade) while equipping parents to disciple their children. This role provides strategic leadership, team development, and operational oversight to ensure the Kids Ministry aligns with LBBC's vision and mission.


Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Vision

  • Lead and oversee all aspects of the LBBC Kids Ministry.
  • Develop and implement a clear vision for spiritual growth and discipleship in children's

    ministry.

  • Build a culture of partnership with parents, equipping them to nurture faith at home.
  • Foster a high-energy, engaging, and Christ-centered environment for children.


    Team Development & Volunteer Engagement

  • Recruit, train, and develop volunteers and staff to serve in the Kids Ministry.
  • Cultivate a team-focused environment that values encouragement, collaboration, and

    excellence.

  • Provide ongoing coaching and development to volunteers, ensuring effectiveness in their

    roles.


    Ministry Execution & Program Development

  • Oversee Sunday services, special events, camps, and outreach initiatives.
  • Develop and implement curriculum, activities, and resources to engage children at all

    levels.

  • Continue security measures to ensure a safe and welcoming environment.
  • Partner with LBBC's guest services team to create an exceptional first-time family

    experience.


    Strategic Planning & Administration

  • Align the Kids Ministry with LBBC's mission and core values.
  • Manage and steward the Kids Ministry budget effectively.
  • Continuously evaluate, innovate, and enhance ministry strategies for greater impact.


    What We're Looking For


    Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent ministry leadership experience.
  • Proven leadership experience in a large children's ministry, with a track record of

    impact.

  • Experience developing teams, volunteers, and family discipleship initiatives.
  • Strong organizational, administrative, and budget management skills.
  • Proficiency in technology, digital tools, and web-based ministry platforms.

  • A strong, personal faith in Jesus Christ and a clear calling to children's ministry.
