Description

Are you passionate about creating a positive experience for families and supporting impactful programs for children? The Summit Area YMCA is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Childcare & Camp Administrator to join our team. In this vital role, you'll be the friendly face and organized mind behind our Childcare & Camp registration, billing, and customer service processes.

What You'll Do:
  • Manage registration and billing for Childcare & Camp programs across all branches.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to parents, participants, and guests-in person and on the phone.
  • Monitor and document visitor access to childcare areas, ensuring a safe and secure environment.
  • Maintain accurate program records, assist with financial assistance data, and collaborate with various teams to streamline processes.
  • Support daily administrative tasks-emails, reports, data entry, and more-to keep everything running smoothly.
  • Act as a welcoming ambassador for the YMCA's mission of Youth Development, Healthy Living, and Social Responsibility.

Salary & Benefits:

This Full Time position (40 hours per week) is Monday- Friday, 8:30am - 5:30. The salary range for this role is $22.00 - $27.00/ hour, and is based on experience. Requirements
  • Associate's Degree or equivalent experience in administration, customer service, or related field.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
  • Solid understanding of basic accounting principles (billing, receivables, reconciliations).
  • Excellent communication skills-friendly, helpful, and clear.
  • Proficiency in business software; DAXKO experience is a plus.
  • Previous experience in childcare, camp administration, or a similar environment is preferred.
