Specialty concrete subcontractor that has been partnering with the Mountain Region s top General Contractors for over 25 years. This team performs concrete packages for projects within the multifamily, senior living, hospitality, healthcare, etc. market sectors.

Description

Key Responsibilities of the Chief Operations Officer (COO):

  • Provide leadership and direction for all operational activities including project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations for multiple projects, ensuring quality control, timeline adherence, and cost management.
  • Establish and implement operational policies, procedures, and best practices across the company to drive efficiency and productivity.
  • Ensure that all operations comply with local, state, and federal regulations as well as company safety standards.
  • Work closely with the executive team to set and achieve long-term business goals, including expanding into new markets or service areas.
  • Identify opportunities for operational improvement, growth, and increased profitability, recommending new initiatives and investments.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, new technologies, and competitive intelligence to ensure the company remains competitive and innovative.

Profile

The Ideal Chief Operations Officer (COO):

  • Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in the construction industry, with at least 5 years in a senior operational leadership role, preferably in concrete construction.
  • Extensive background in managing complex commercial, industrial, or infrastructure concrete projects.
  • Strong technical knowledge of concrete materials, processes, and construction methods.
  • Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams of project managers, superintendents, and field staff.
  • Demonstrated success in creating a positive company culture focused on collaboration, accountability, and safety.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to drive long-term business growth and operational improvements.

Job Offer

Employment Package for the Vice President of Operations:

  • Base Salary: Competitive salary range of $175,000 - $225,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
