Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) to direct and coordinate a broad range of operational, technological, and marketing activities to achieve the credit union's objectives, in accordance with policies established by the President/CEO and the Board of Directors.
Duties
- Directs activities of the departments for which responsible, in accordance with credit union policy and objectives.
- Works with the CEO, leadership team and marketing team to deliver marketing activities to drive prudent growth in number of members, the balance sheet and net income within budget and risk tolerances.
- Formulates and recommends operating policies and objectives or changes in existing policies and objectives
- Assists the President in preparing short-term and long-range plans - strategic, tactical, and budgetary
- To oversee the physical facilities and branches for employees and member
- To make recommendations for improvements in products, pricing, policies, distribution methods, and cost efficiencies according to best practices for the industry
- Acts as management team liaison with Supervisory Committee
- Additional duties as required
Qualifications
- Five to ten years of similar, or related, Chief Operating Officer experience, including experience with core operating systems and associated applications. Experience in marketing and growth initiatives is a major plus.
- College degree required. Master's degree preferred
- Excellent communication skills.
