A privately held, rapidly growing industrial company is seeking a hands-on Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead operational excellence and integration initiatives across multiple business units. This role will drive process improvement, procurement, and performance accountability while ensuring scalable operations for continued growth.
This is not a consulting role-we're seeking a doer. Someone who has successfully run complex operations, led lean transformation efforts, and held teams accountable for real results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and integrate operations across multiple sites and newly acquired businesses.
- Drive operational performance through lean principles, standardized workflows, and KPI discipline.
- Lead procurement and supply chain efforts, with a focus on cost, reliability, and efficiency.
- Establish a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Work closely with leadership to align resources with long-term strategic growth initiatives.
- Travel up to 50% required to support regional site leadership and integration.
Ideal Background:
- 10+ years in operational leadership roles in industrial, manufacturing, or construction-related businesses.
- Proven track record of delivering results in complex, hands-on environments.
- Experience managing lean transformations and procurement strategy.
- Strong leadership presence and ability to drive accountability and change at all levels.
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
