About The Position
Capital Engine is looking for a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join our team. This role will serve as a crucial part of shaping and guiding Capital Engine's growth and success.
This position will interact with every function in the firm - strategically, operationally, and tactically - working together to combine the firm's strategic and business plans with our business operating system, our operating model, and our organizational structure. The COO is a key member of our management team and reports to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
Focus will be on scaling / accelerating revenue growth in 2025 / 26 with our strategic partners, business / tech development, development of sales / marketing capabilities, raising capital for Capital Engine and clients, and recruiting key staff to ramp up market share.
Key requirement is a Series 24 license (FINRA), as we will be expanding our broker dealer acquisition including setup of broker dealer platforms, and secondary trading for private markets in the US.
Candidates must have great people skills, sales / capital raising experience, excellent business acumen, and the ability to manage diverse business functions.

You'll Get a Chance To:
- Lead and manage a team of professionals across multiple functional areas, including operations and technology.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures that ensure the company is operating at the highest level of efficiency.
- Design, support, and oversee cross-functional teams to support specific company campaigns or initiatives
- Identify and assess areas of risk and develop strategies to mitigate those risks.
- Build and maintain relationships with strategic partners and service providers, including technology partners
- Work closely with the executive team to develop and implement strategies that support the growth of the business.
- Monitor and analyze industry trends and developments to ensure the company remains competitive and innovative.
- Be part of the day-to-day operations of the company and play a critical role in developing and implementing technology and strategies that support the growth of the business
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field; MBA or CFA
- 10 + years of experience in the financial industry, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role similar to the position.
- Strong sales and capital raising skills (NB ).
- Strong understanding of capital and financial markets (NB ).
- Licensed with SEC / FINRA - General Securities Principal (Series 24) or WIP - minimum (Series 7, 63)
- Proven track record of developing and implementing operational policies and procedure.
- Experienced managing risk and compliance in a highly regulated environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve their goals.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Comfortable working in a very fast-paced environment.
- Self-starter and use of technologies and software applications commonly used in the FinTech / Blockchain industry
