Chief of Pediatric Pulmonary Medicine

A nationally recognized children's hospital in Philadelphia is seeking a dynamic Chief of Pulmonary Medicine to lead and advance their pediatric pulmonary department. What will you be doing?

  • Direct the clinical and operational activities of the Pulmonary Medicine Department.
  • Provide clinical coverage, physician staffing, and oversee nurse practitioners and RNs.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans, driving program development and change management.
  • Create and implement departmental policies, ensuring high-quality patient care.
  • Mentor and train clinical staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
  • Lead quality improvement initiatives, enhancing patient outcomes.
  • Recruit and manage clinical staff, including physicians and nurse practitioners.
  • Oversee daily clinical operations of the medical staff.
  • Develop and lead practice-oriented education.

What do you bring to the table?

  • MD or DO degree.
  • Board certification in Pediatrics and Pediatric Pulmonary Medicine.
  • Unrestricted PA medical license.
  • 5+ years of clinical experience in a pediatric outpatient practice.
  • 3+ years of experience in practice leadership and change management.
  • Graduate from an ACGME Pediatric Residency and ACGME Pediatric Pulmonary Fellowship.
