Washington Township Medical Foundation (WTMF) and Washington Hospital Health System (WHHS) have exclusively retained Avoca Search to recruit an exceptional cardiovascular surgeon to serve as Chief of Cardiovascular Service Line. This is an exciting opportunity to join a premier multi-specialty medical group and health system in northern California.

Located in Fremont, California and founded in 2010, WTMF is a fast-growing, 100 physician multi-specialty group with multiple locations around Silicon Valley committed to providing the highest quality, accessible, integrated healthcare in the region. WTMF is part of WHHS which includes a 415-bed, Magnet, acute care hospital, Bell Neuroscience Institute of Silicon Valley, Washington Institute for Joint Restoration and Research, and Washington West, a complex which includes Washington Women's center and outpatient facilities. WHHS maintains a partnership with UCSF Health and UCSF Benioff Children's Hospitals to expand care and offer the residents of the Tri-City area greater access to renowned specialty services.

The Chief of Cardiovascular Service Line will provide operational leadership, expand clinical services, and address the healthcare needs of the community. The Chief will be a visionary leader shaping the future of the service line, promoting a positive culture, and providing guidance around clinical practice standards, quality care, and patient outcomes. The Chief will lead WTMF's Cardiovascular Service Line and work collaboratively with other physician groups and hospital leadership to ensure alignment in goals and objectives across the health system. This role will have oversight of the Cardiologists and Advanced Practice Providers (NP/PA) to drive standardization of care, program development, and process improvement initiatives. The Chief will advise and consult on new and established policies and procedures.

The successful candidate will be an experienced physician leader with significant experience in Structural Heart Disease/Interventions, have a track record building and strengthening cardiovascular services, establishing growth initiatives, and driving value-based care outcomes. A history of delivering strong clinical results, serving an ethnically diverse patient population and a desire to mentor and develop colleagues is highly preferred. Candidates must be board certified in Interventional Cardiology, have specialized experience in Structural Heart with a minimum of 5 years leadership experience, and be willing to work clinically.
