Chief Mental Health Officer

•  Chief Mental Health Officer (CMHO) oversees mental health, substance abuse, and school-based health programs at a Federally Qualified Health Center in Muskegon, MI.
•  As part of the Executive Leadership Team, the CMHO provides clinical leadership, supervises staff, develops strategic plans, and fosters community partnerships.
•  Responsible for departmental oversight, staff recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and ensuring quality patient care.
•  Engages in direct clinical care, staff training, and program development.
•  Requires a master's in a mental health field, Michigan independent licensure, CAADC, 5+ years leadership, and strong communication and organizational skills.
