About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to join their team. The CISO will be responsible for business-level security strategic and tactical planning, driving the company's information security management system, and leading the internal privacy program. This role requires a focus on security management, including enterprise risk management, selection and implementation of technical controls, incident management program development, and access control reviews. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security, with experience in Agile development processes, security certifications such as CISSP or CISA, and privacy certifications like CIPP/E and CIPM. A Bachelor's degree in an engineering or scientific field is also a requirement. In addition to the core responsibilities, the CISO will be expected to foster a security-first attitude across the company's sites, serve as a security expert in various discussions, and have experience in briefing senior executive staff. Desired skills include experience as a developer, knowledge of build systems, static code analysis, software composition analysis tools, and typical Unix/Linux administration. The role is pivotal in driving improved security visibility for the company's IoT device manufacturers and will involve occasional travel for meetings and events.
