Chief Information Security Officer. In this role, the CISO will be relied upon to ensure compliance with CMMC standards (NIST 800-171) in addition to the implementation and writing of Policy and Procedure Documentation.
This is a fully remote position, however this position requires the ability to travel to our Hollywood, MD office as needed. Job Responsibilities: - Design and implement a comprehensive information security strategy that aligns with CMMC requirements
- Prepare, review, and update Policy and Procedure Documents
- Ensure approved Policy and Procedure documents are adhered to through periodic inspection and review of artifacts
- Support IT department with implementation of systems
- Coordinate any changes or modifications to hardware, software, or firmware of systems as part of Change Management
- Ensure all Information Systems Policy and Procedure documents are available to the appropriately authorized personnel
- Identify cyber security vulnerabilities and assist with implementation of countermeasures
- Prepare reports and artifacts
- Coordinate and implement IT Risk Management with at a minimum, quarterly Risk Management meetings and continuous risk management as part of Change Management
- Lead the response to cybersecurity incidents to include timely investigation, containment, resolution and communications
- Oversee cybersecurity awareness training program aimed at educating teammates on best practices, phishing prevention, and other critical security topics
Requirements
To
qualify for this position, you must possess the following:
- At least ten years of DoD Cyber Security Experience - specifically experience with CMMC (Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification) and RMF (Risk Management Framework)
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security or other related field
- Must possess the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification (CCNA Security preferred)
- Ability to travel upwards of 15% of the time

Pay Range $160,000 - $180,000 per year
The above pay range represents a general guideline; however, Belmont Point Management, LLC considers a number of factors when determining base pay offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
