About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to lead the transformation of its cybersecurity program. The CISO will be a dynamic leader with a proven track record in securing a highly distributed global enterprise. Key responsibilities include establishing and maintaining a comprehensive organization-wide information security program, forging strong alliances with business, IT, and legal leadership, and providing in-depth cybersecurity expertise and guidance. The role also involves managing the selection and implementation of vendor-managed services across various cybersecurity domains, staying abreast of global IT and data privacy regulations, and leading the response to security events. The CISO will be instrumental in building out the cybersecurity function, promoting a culture of cybersecurity awareness, and ensuring the organization is well-prepared to mitigate and respond to security incidents. Candidates for the CISO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a major science or engineering discipline or a related field, with a preference for advanced degrees. A minimum of 10 years' experience in cybersecurity, particularly focused on operational technology and critical infrastructure, is required, along with at least 5 years' of supervisory experience. The ideal candidate will hold a CISSP, HCISSP, or CISM certification and have a strong working knowledge of cybersecurity control frameworks. Advanced skills in securing cloud infrastructure, experience with SIEM, EDR/MDR, ZTA, and SDN technologies, and a deep understanding of data privacy regulations are essential. The role demands the ability to work across multiple time zones, manage multiple workstreams, and a willingness to travel. The CISO should be self-motivated, possess excellent communication skills, and have an entrepreneurial spirit with a strong commitment to continuous learning and adaptation in a dynamic environment.
