About the Role

Join a leading private research university museum as the Chief Information Security Executive (CISO). In this pivotal role, you will lead the Information Security Team dedicated to protecting the organization's valuable information assets. You will be tasked with developing and maintaining a comprehensive security vision and strategy that ensures the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of both academic and administrative information resources while adhering to regulatory requirements.

Your leadership will encompass key areas such as risk management, policy formulation, security architecture, compliance oversight, and incident response. Working closely with the Chief Information Officer and other critical stakeholders, you will help shape the IT security direction for the organization.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Additional qualifications in information security and a professional security management certification.
• A substantial background in information security and IT risk management, with at least 7 years of relevant experience.
• Managerial experience in an IT services context is a plus.
